Mr Binod Singh
Mr Singh is one of the few orthopaedic surgeons in the UK to exclusively specialise in knee surgery. He has performed over 1500 total knee replacements, with an impressively low complication rate (0% in private practice and less than 1% in NHS), and more than 7000 arthroscopies. He also regularly performs complex ligament reconstruction, articular cartilage surgery and revision of failed knee replacements.
Mr Singh’s surgical excellence is only half the story. He’s passionate about his patients’ care and is committed to treating them as individuals – or as he puts it “like family.” His clinical judgements are based not just on their physical condition but also on their unique set of personal circumstances.
As an exclusive knee specialist in Birmingham, Mr Singh is dedicated to pushing the boundaries in his field and his research, ensuring that Knee Clinic patients can take advantage of the very latest developments and techniques. His work in minimally invasive total knee replacements and achieving high flexion (bend) after knee replacements has contributed to the design and evaluation of new implants that are used all over the world. Mr Singh is also much in demand as a lecturer and trainer, shaping the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons.
